Hasmukh Mehta Dharmendra, a wealthy businessman angrily snatches his wifes expensive necklaces, and tosses it out of the window to prove his point that he is not a miser. On getting hit by the flying necklace, Meena, a neighbour of the Mehtas ask for compensation. Hasmukh buys her a piece of diamond ear rings that she had lost after being hit by the flying necklace and the rumours of his alleged affair with her begins.
